The Wine Cyclist

written by The Wine Cyclist

In 2009, I had amazing opportunities to travel to many corners of the United States and explore sights and experiences completely new to me. In 2010, I moved my life to the Pacific Northwest. I thought I might keep this blog going for a while, but my life is headed in new directions now and the desire to keep this page running is minimal. Instead, I let it stand as a public journal of my travels by bicycle in 2009. There were two bicycle tours of note; both took me to awesome places. I met fantastic people and tasted some delicious wine.

In May of 2009, I spent a week cycling around the Finger Lakes of New York.

Following that, I spent two months on a 3,000-mile tour that started in Madison, WI and ended with me overlooking the Pacific Ocean from Seaside, OR.

While cycling and wine are still very much important parts of my life, I’m headed in new directions at the moment, primarily focused on music, technology and art. Blogging about that here doesn’t quite fit the motif.

So, I hope that you enjoy these writings and that perhaps they inspire you to adventures of your own.

Keep the rubber side down…
